However, all the chemical molecules aren\u2019t eliminated there the water is released back into the natural environment because each toxic product requires special treatment. These treatments are rarely done because of their high cost.\u00b2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>More than 100 000 chemical substances are authorised for sale<\/strong>, but we only completely know the effects on human health of about 5 000 of them.\u00b3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The solution is simple: switch to ecologically responsible and\/or natural cleaning products (black soap, sodium bicarbonate, white vinegar, etc.). <a href=\"https:\/\/montagneverte.org\/ecoguide\/how-to-make-your-own-household-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here for a guide on how to make your own.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Sources: [1] 60 millions de consommateurs avril 2019.
