How to make your own household products

Here is a list of recipes to clean in an efficient, economical and above all, ecological way.

Is buying more and more household products in plastic containers and with more miraculous recipes from each other the right solution? Below is a list of recipes for household products that use minimal ingredients, and use natural products.

  • RECURRING CREAM
    Clean sinks, sinks, tiles …
    Mix in a dedicated container: 1 tablespoon of liquid black soap + 125 ml of Blanc de Meudon or white clay + a few drops of essential oils to preserve and perfume
  • VINEGAR SPRAY
    To clean smooth surfaces regularly, windows, worktops, tiles, refrigerator
    Mix in a spray bottle (an old empty bottle) 250 ml of white vinegar + 500 ml of water + a few drops of essential oils (lemon, eucalyptus, lavandin …)
  • CLEAN ALL
    For cleaning tiles, worktops, smooth non-porous surfaces
    In a 1L bottle, mix 3 tablespoons of liquid black soap + complete with water + 20 drops of essential oils (lemon, eucalyptus, lavandin, etc.)
  • CLEAN THE SPONGES
    Soak the sponge in a mixture of half water, half white vinegar
  • CLEAN THE COOKING PLATES
    Sprinkle with baking soda and wipe with a damp sponge, then finish with a little black soap.
  • KETTLE
    Leave a mixture of half water and half white vinegar to act for about 30 minutes
  • DISHWASHING LIQUID
    In a 1L can, mix 125 ml of black soap + a tablespoon of soda crystals to dissolve in hot water + about fifteen drops of essential oils + complete with water.
  • DEODORIZE AND PERFUME YOUR VACUUM CLEANER
    Make a bunch of baking soda with a few drops of essential oils and vacuum it up!
  • ANTI-MOLD AND WHITENING JOINTS
    In a spray bottle, mix 200 g of baking soda + 100 ml of water
    Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes, then dynamically scrub the joints with a toothbrush. Then spray white vinegar for a complete treatment, then rinse.
  • ANTI-LIMESTONE – SHOWER WINDOWS
    Spray white vinegar on the surface to be cleaned. Leave on for a few minutes then rub with a cloth. No need to rinse with water!
  • PIPELINE UNBLOCKER
    To de-clutter and naturally deodorize your pipes: Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda then 200 ml of white vinegar, leave to act for 15 minutes then add 1 liter of hot water
  • SPECIAL OIL STAIN REMOVER
    Remove the excess with absorbent paper, then place the Terre de Sommières on the fabric. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then vacuum it up when dry.
    Sommières earth can be used on all types of textiles but also on surfaces such as floors, walls and wooden furniture.
